CLINICS

We offer the following clinics:

Antenatal/postnatal Cervical screening
Child health surveillance Child vaccinations and immunisation
Diabetes Asthma/COPD

Mental health Smoking cessation
Minor surgery and cryotherapy Hypertension
Vaccinations and immunisation Weight management

Please ask at reception for details and appointments for any of the above.

Maternity medical services are provided in partnership with the community midwives.

Contraceptive services are provided mainly during routine surgeries by all doctors, except for fitting intra-uterine contraceptive devices, implants and caps. This is carried out at a separate session, which can be booked through reception.

Regular Health Checks

If you have not attended the surgery for a period of three years you will be offered a routine health check by the practice nurse.

Foreign Travel

A full range of advice is available, including necessary immunisations. Please ask reception for the practice travel questionnaire well in advance of your departure date, preferably two to three months. A minimum of six weeks' notice is required for this service, failing which you will be directed to a private travel clinic.

Non-NHS Examinations

Medical examinations for special purposes, eg, HGV drivers, elderly drivers, pre-employment, fitness to undertake sports, etc., require a special appointment so please tell the receptionist if you are looking for one of these. A fee will be payable for these examinations in accordance with the standard BMA rate, a copy of which is available from reception.
